As another year wraps up, Lazy Dog Pizza looks back on a year packed with delicious pizzas and heartwarming community engagements. We’ve had the pleasure of being a part of several remarkable events that left pawprints on our hearts.
This year, we had our own ice sculpture at the Zender’s Snowfest in downtown Frankenmuth.
The Great Taste of Frankenmuth event, where our pizzas were a hit! We had the pleasure of delighting taste buds and serving up smiles, showcasing our love for great food and community connection.
In the spirit of community engagement, we participated in enlightening conversations and met bright young minds at the Frankenmuth High School and Birch Run High School career fairs. These events allowed us to discuss exciting opportunities with future talents.
This year, we attended the International Pizza Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center and participated in workshops, live demonstrations, and tastings.
With neon lights and retro beats, we joined the funky festivities of the 80’s Fest. We brought our own flavor to the celebration, serving up slices that perfectly complemented the rad vibes of the event.
On a particularly special day, May 15th, we contributed to nurturing creativity in our local community. A percentage of our sales during that day went towards supporting the E.F. Rittmueller Middle School Art Department, reflecting our commitment to fostering artistic growth among our youth.
Lazy Dog Pizza was a proud sponsor of this amazing team, which included schools from Vassar, Reese, Caro, Frankenmuth, and the Bay City Central Varsity Gymnastics Team.
Proud sponsors of this musical tradition, we’re delighted to partner with the Frankenmuth Women’s Club to bring joyous tunes to the community.
Took part in the parade at the Bavarian Festival. A big group of employees, family, and friends all took part and promoted Lazy Dog to all of Frankenmuth.
Each year, the town buzzes with vintage car enthusiasts at the Frankenmuth Auto Fest. Lazy Dog Pizza proudly set up a tent, serving slices amidst the classic cars. It was a joyous celebration of community, pizza, and classic cars, creating moments filled with laughter and nostalgia
Our Skate Haus became a hub for families and friends to gather and skate at the rink this winter. The Skate Haus and rink opened up November 20th and will remain open until February 29th. At the ice rink and skate haus, we have started hosting Pizza Parties that are sponsored by local businesses. Turf Tech and Koesters Building have both sponsored a party by providing tons of pizzas for skaters at the rink.
Recently Lazy Dog Pizza was a Gold Winter Glow Sponsor for the Christmastown 5k run/walk in downtown Frankenmuth. Our team members came together to spread Christmas cheer by participating.
This winter, we invited a few students from Frankenmuth High School to paint a winter scene on our store front. Meg Redwanz, Neely Cornelius and Clara Warnick each set aside a whole afternoon to bring life to our front window with Christmas trees and festive pups ready for winter.
This year, we started Sunday Pooch Spotlight. This weekly feature showcases the adorable dogs in our community, highlighting their unique personalities and the special bonds they share with their owners. From Halloween to Christmas and everything in between, we’ve themed these spotlights to match the joyous spirit of the season. Whether it’s playful pups enjoying fall adventures or seniors showing off their wisdom, each Sunday, we share heartwarming stories about these incredible dogs
This year, we started selling frisbees, koozies, and t-shirts in our store. Now anyone can rep Lazy Dog with some fun merch and show their love for our pizza. Stop by the store to grab a frisbee for your dog, a koozie for all those pizza parties and a t-shirt to stay in style. Our loyalty program is the best way to stay connected with us. This past year loyalty members were able to take part in “Double Loyalty Points Days”. On these specific days, loyalty members could place an order and receive double points on that order. This is great for all pizza lovers.
As we reflect on these events, we’re grateful for all the connections made and the joy shared. Each event was a celebration of our love for pizza and our commitment to being an integral part of our wonderful community.
With each pizza served, we continue to look forward to crafting new memories and fostering deeper connections in the year to come. Stay tuned for more pizza-filled adventures from Lazy Dog Pizza!
Warmly,
The Lazy Dog Pizza Team
